Regardless of our age, fitness, stature,

wealth, health, knowledge, and beliefs, we all

experience moments of self-loathing, frustration, fear, anxiety,

sadness, and uncertainty...but if we can just remember that these

are only temporary moments, and understand that they too shall pass

(if we allow them to), we can harness the emotional energy that comes with these moments, and use it to launch ourselves into an even better place than we were before. Why must we wait for external motivation, approval and acceptance before we allow ourselves to live our best lives? 

The truth is, we don't need to wait. 

When we tap into our own intuition, coupled with the raw

therapeutic benefits of being embraced by nature, we can learn

how to expand, accept, respect, love and look after ourselves. 

We can give ourselves...

Some would say I have lived a sheltered, maybe even boring life....I would say I have lived an extraordinarily ordinary life. 

I don't mean to sell myself short with this declaration, I simply want to honour the life I have lived and everything that has contributed to the person I am today.  Despite my life so far having been devoid of high-level abuse and trauma, I have experienced raw emotion, fought internal battles, developed and nurtured significant relationships, and undergone some serious soul searching over the years, to find myself now in a place of calm and contentment - most of the time.     

When I wrote the 'about me' section on this website I did not want to emphasise my physical form because I have worked hard to dilute its presence in defining who I am, but the truth is I don't want to underrate it either because it is my 'gold' now.  I battled my weight and allowed it to define me for 40 years...now, regardless of my physical form, the battle is over which has allowed the rest of me to blossom.  I don't hate exercise anymore and I no longer carry around the chip on my shoulder because I can't lose weight..Thanks to this 40+ year long relationship with my weight, I feel qualified to partner with others to bring about similar acceptance, gratitude and contentment to their own lives - whether it be about their weight, or other sources of insecurity, frustration, and discontentment.

Armed with my Holistic Life Coach & Mind-Body Practitioner Diploma, my very own nature’s clinic, as well as everything I have learned from my own journey, I am at a stage in my life where my purpose is simple - to walk alongside others (literally) and offer my guidance and support as they learn how to identify, question, and change the things that are triggering them, holding them back, and denying them genuine contentment.      I have a particular interest in helping people transform their mindset around health, exercise and well-being.  Notice I didn't say I wanted to help people lose weight?  I am not about putting people on restrictive diets, or setting regimented exercise programs in an attempt to find temporary worthiness that comes with a shrinking body.  Instead, I am about working with people to increase their awareness of what it means to be 'healthy'. 

Your health is not just the sum of what you eat, how much you exercise, and what size you are - it is holistic and needs to take into account equally the mind, the body and the spirit.  Our world is flooded with information about how best to treat the body which I am certainly not going to discredit because looking after our body is crucial to good health - what I challenge (and want to reframe for people) is our perception of what is required in order to take care of our bodies...i.e diet and exercise.   The remaining two elements of 'health' - mind and spirit, are somewhat less spoken of in this discussion usually, but are ironically the keys to long-term health.  Our thoughts (mind) significantly effect our physical state, so how could we possibly dismiss them in a conversation about our health?  Our connection to the universe and each other (spirit) is what we draw when we establish our values and beliefs - again, how could we dismiss this when our intention is to show up as the best version of ourselves? 

A session with me is not just a period of time dedicated to YOU and your well-being, where you get to let your guard down with zero judgement, and start unpacking your stuff (which for some people is enough).  A session with me gives you the invaluable opportunity to connect with your emotions, your thoughts and with nature.  With direct access to over 1000 acres of Australian Bushland, an extremely private 5 acre property and a passionate desire to walk alongside you as you do your own soul searching and define your own health and well-being, I invite you to experience for yourself the empowerment and release that comes with connecting to your mind, your body and your spirit.     

          We don't need to wait for permission, acceptance, or motivation from an external source, we should be our own source of inspiration and motivation because only then can we can take it with us for the rest of our lives...not just while our bodies look the way we think they should, or while our personal trainers are in business, or while our friends have the time and energy to devote to us.

This is a 60min one-on-one session where you are free to stop, rest and breathe.

We will talk as openly as you feel comfortable about your "health" mindset, WHY you want to make changes and HOW to adjust your physical, emotional, and spiritual habits to achieve your goals.

As we sit and relax amidst the calming, grounding beauty of the native Australian bushland,

I will talk with YOU as you find clarity, contentment and confidence in your life.

These sessions have everything my "Bushland Backdrop" sessions offer, with the added magic of physical movement through nature.  YOU will set the pace based on your own fitness intuition - this is NOT about weight loss! I am a BIG believer of the psychological and spiritual benefits of just getting your body moving and surrounding yourself in nature.  There are NO expectations, NO competitions, and NO advice on how to "sculpt your body" or reduce your body size. I am not an exercise physiologist or personal trainer, but I DO strongly advocate for intuitive body movement as a tool for well-being, which is why I don't charge extra for this session...to encourage you to experience the magic for yourself...without weight loss being the desired outcome.

These sessions have everything my "Bushland Backdrop" sessions offer, but are for those of you who can't (or would prefer not to) meet in person.  Whether it be due to location, time, or even shyness...there is no judgement.  I will set the camera up with the bushland in the background so you can be as close to nature as possible via Zoom.
